Try to schedule your arrival and departures on the 'available dates' especially those days when there is already an airport run scheduled—as dates are scheduled, adjacent days become 'to be avoided.'

The earlier you book your flight, the more options you have! Inform the Project Directors as soon as you make your flight reservations.

Keep in mind:

• the Rapid City Airport is about 2.5 hours (120 miles) from Camp Cretaceous.
• Friday afternoons and Sundays are the best for transportation to and from the airport!
• schedule arrivals on any Friday before 6:00pm
• schedule arrivals on the first Friday in the afternoon—you may have to wait at the airport until someone gets there from Keene
• the first Monday of the project should be avoided since we are getting classes started and everyone organized
• schedule all departures after 9:00am (an alternative is to stay the previous night in a Rapid City motel with an airport shuttle service)
• schedule Friday departures late in the afternoon, if possible
• schedule departures on the last Thursday, late in the afternoon
